Environmental

Our aim is to minimise the environmental impact of our work and make sure at all times that we consider environmental issues.

Our CSR Committee and the Board are committed to looking at ways the firm’s impact on the environment can be reduced. The following initiatives have been introduced and are encouraged where possible:

• Recycling facilities on each floor for plastic, glass, paper and cardboard. All paper waste is disposed of confidentially via a contractor where it is shredded and recycled
• Installing lights that automatically switch off to save energy
• Turning off the air conditioning during non-core office hours
• Installing mains-fed water coolers on all floors rather than traditional bottled water machines
• Encouraging staff to only print when necessary and use both sides for multi-page documents
• Printing all marketing material on recycled paper where possible on ISO 14001 accredited printers
• Introducing the Cycle Scheme Initiative to encourage staff to cycle to work
• Reducing the amount of business travel by using teleconferencing and video conferencing. When travel is needed, we use public transport, where possible, and we have a dedicated travel coordinator to facilitate this.
• We try to use refillable products where possible like soap and cleaning products.
