About Cure Leukaemia

Cure Leukaemia was established in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock CBE, to allow patients with blood cancer access to remarkably effective new treatments which were then becoming available.

Since then, Cure Leukaemia has been able to expand to a national network and are now able to offer potential life-saving treatment to patients across the UK, including at The Christie and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

All funds raised through the 12-hour padelathon will go directly to Professor Rob Wynn from Manchester Children’s Hospital, enabling his team to bring hope to children with blood cancer.

Professor Wynn explained, “A huge thank you to everyone participating in the 12-hour padelathon at Pure Padel. Thanks to the funds raised throughout the day, we are not only increasing the survival rates of children diagnosed with blood cancer but also improving their quality of life during and after treatment. This is about giving children access to the best possible care and giving families hope.”
