Andrew joined JMW in March 2018 as a paralegal. He began his training contract with the firm in September 2020, qualifying into the Business Crime and Regulation department in September 2022.
Andrew has experience in representing police officers, from Federated Officers through to Superintendents, in both Criminal and Misconduct investigations. During his time as a paralegal Andrew was part of the team representing David Duckenfield, the Match Day Commander on the day of the Hillsborough Disaster, during his Criminal proceedings.
Andrew also has a wide range of experience in Criminal matters including:
- Murder
- Conspiracy to Supply Class A / Class B Drugs
- Fraud
- Money Laundering
- Perverting the Course of Justice
- Proceeds of Crime Act applications
Andrew graduated from the University of Leicester in July 2017 with a First Class degree in Law and Criminology before completing his Legal Practice Course in July 2020, attaining a Distinction.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys both playing and watching football, being a keen supporter of Burnley Football Club.
