Andrew joined JMW in October 2024 as a Partner and Head of Cycling in the Personal Injury Department.
With vast experience and knowledge in all areas of personal injury law, his main expertise is dealing with claims arising out of cycling accidents, in particular arising from road traffic accidents or accidents on the highway (defects on roads).
As a keen cyclist and member of both a local cycling club and British Cycling, Andrew also holds a Ride Leadership qualification. As such he understands the minutiae of cycling claims, the wider needs of cyclists and their desire to get back on the road as soon as possible.
Andrew has experience in dealing with claims involving a wide variety of injuries and a proven track record of success at trial in disputed cycling cases, his specialist team working closely with experts and counsel. Having graduated from the University of Liverpool before completing the Common Professional Examination and LPC at The College of Law in Chester, Andrew has amassed over 20 years’ experience working in the Personal Injury sector in the North West. Prior to joining JMW he played a significant role in the team which helped to build the successful ‘The Bike Solicitors’ brand.
Outside of work and cycling, Andrew enjoys running, watching Bolton Wanderers (where he is a season ticket holder) and spending time with his family.
