Bhavishna joined JMW Solicitors in April 2022 as a paralegal within the Corporate Immigration department. She subsequently commenced her Training Contract with the firm in September 2023.
Bhavishna has developed expertise on a variety of corporate immigrations matters including Sponsor Licenses, PBS Skilled Worker visas, Global Business Mobility visas and is seeking to expand her knowledge in different areas of law during the course of her training contract.
Bhavishna holds a Master of Laws in Legal Practice (LLM LPC) from University of Law, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours from Queen Mary University of London. Bhavishna has a keen interest in Pro-Bono initiatives and was a student advisor at her university’s Legal Advice Centre.
Prior to joining JMW, Bhavishna worked as a paralegal at a boutique law firm where she worked on a wide range of immigration, conveyancing, and litigation matters.
Outside of work, Bhavishna is a professionally trained Indian classical dancer, and is passionate about flourishing her country’s art form. She also has a keen interest in volunteering and spends her free time coaching kids from underrepresented socio-economic backgrounds.
