Cara joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in September 2024 in the Private Client Department.
Cara has experience in a wide range of Private Client matters including:
- Lifetime estate planning, including drafting Wills and Trusts
- Personal Injury Trusts
- Advising in relation to Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Income Tax mitigation
- Declarations of Trust
- Probate /Estate Administration
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
Prior to joining JMW, Cara graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours degree in Law. She then worked at Hill Dickinson as a Paralegal before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester, achieving a Distinction.
Outside of work, Cara enjoys travelling as much as possible and going on walks in the Lake District.
