George joined JMW in October 2024 as a Solicitor in the Media and Reputation Management team that sits within the Commercial Litigation department.
George has a varied caseload and in addition to acting for both businesses and individuals in providing advice on media, privacy, and reputation management issues, he also undertakes general commercial litigation.
He has experience acting on behalf of multiple high-profile clients including Premier League footballers, other athletes, celebrities, agents, private healthcare providers, and large corporates. George is regularly instructed to deal with threatened publications to the media’s publication deadlines, provides pre-publication advice and is frequently involved in securing the removal of online content that is either defamatory or infringes privacy rights.

Before joining JMW, George worked as a Paralegal, trained and qualified (in March 2024) at a boutique media, commercial litigation, sports and entertainment firm.
