George joined JMW in April 2024 as a Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation Department in Manchester.
George has acted for a variety of clients in a range of commercial disputes, including claims relating to professional negligence, financial misconduct, misuse of confidential information, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and defamation. He also has wider experience of fields intersecting with commercial litigation, including employment, contentious probate and commercial landlord and tenant disputes, as well as commercial property development and corporate refinancing transactions.
After completing his undergraduate degree in History at the University of Leeds, George obtained his GDL from the University of Law, and went on to complete the LPC and an MSc in Law and Business. George trained in the Manchester office of a large national law firm before joining JMW upon qualification.
Outside of work, George spends most of his time looking after his young son, and in his leisure time enjoys reading and listening to classic rock music.
