Harry joined JMW in 2023 and is a Partner in our London Employment Team.

Harry advises both employer and employee clients on the whole array of employment issues. Harry prides himself on providing practical and pragmatic advice with an awareness that employment law advice is really not a “one size fits all approach”.

Harry has a particular focus on scaling companies and has strong experience in life science, retail and fashion and the tech sector.

He has also advised a number of start-up Founders as they look to establish and grow their businesses.

Harry’s experience covers the lifespan of the employment relationship – from advising on contracts of employment to workplace disputes and ultimately dismissal and post termination restrictions

Harry also advises clients on their company wide People strategy including advising on remote working (both in the UK and internationally).

He has acted for clients in both the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.

Harry’s experience includes:

  • Acting for a high end fashion company in relation to a company-wide restructure.
  • Acting for a multinational organisation in relation to a business relocation.
  • Advising senior executives in relation to post termination restrictions.
  • Acting for a tech company in relation to a complex race discrimination Tribunal claim.
  • Drafting and reviewing TUPE provisions in relation to an outsourcing of IT services.

As well as working in city law firms, Harry also worked in-house at a US Headquartered brokerage firm and so is acutely aware how clients like and need to receive their advice.

Harry also regularly provides training sessions to HR and in-house legal teams as well as speaking at events discussing hot topics in Employment law.

In his spare time, Harry enjoys spending time with his 3 young children and enjoys playing football and tennis.
