Katie is an associate in JMW’s Clinical Negligence department and deals with cases involving avoidable brain and spinal injuries for children and adults.
She has a special interest in birth injury claims and has worked on several successful cerebral palsy cases, which have resulted in significant compensation settlements for the children affected.
Katie is representing numerous patients with cauda equina syndrome due to negligent treatment and is helping them to claim compensation to help with their care and the financial consequences.
Qualifying as a solicitor in 2011, Katie joined JMW in January 2012 from Stephensons Solicitors. She achieved a law degree from the University of Liverpool, which included a year studying French law at La Sorbonne University in Paris.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys travelling, attending music festivals and regularly participates in outdoor swimming events.
