Kulwant joined JMW in October 2023 in the London Commercial Litigation Department.
Kulwant has extensive experience in a wide range of disputes, including cross-border litigation and complex high value claims. She is a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer within commercial litigation and professional negligence.
She has particular expertise in:
- Debt recovery both for companies and individuals
- Claims for professional negligence against various professionals
- Contractual disputes
- Enforcement action including overseas
- Property disputes relating to the fraudulent transfer of title
Kulwant graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Degree in Social Science and completed her LPC at London Guildhall University. She trained at a West End firm in London before qualifying in 2001. Kulwant formerly handled family and employment disputes before settling in the civil and commercial litigation department.
Kulwant previously worked at a National Legal 500 firm (Duncan Lewis Solicitors) within the Dispute Resolution team, also supervising junior staff.
Outside of work, Kulwant enjoys running, yoga, cooking and baking shows, as well as looking after her Japanese Acers.
