Lauren is currently a Trainee Solicitor in the Manchester office and joined JMW in September 2024.
Lauren graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 2:1 degree in Law and subsequently completed her Legal Practical Course from the University of Law, Manchester in 2022 in which she gained a Distinction.
Lauren joins the firm with almost 4 years' experience as a Paralegal assisting Fee Earners with Care Proceedings instigated by the Local Authority, Child Arrangements Orders and Non-Molestation Orders.
Lauren has advocacy experience backing both Junior and Kings Counsel at complex, lengthy hearings at the County Court, High Court and the Royal Court of Justice and has experience representing clients at Non-Molestation Hearings. During this time, Lauren worked closely with a variety of Chambers and Counsel across the North West, Intermediaries, the Official Solicitor and a variety of Experts. Lauren made links with several domestic abuse organisations, hosted drop-in sessions and support for some of the most vulnerable in society.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys travelling and has taken a year out to travel across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Lauren also enjoys shopping, walks in the Peak District and Yoga.
