Lucy joined JMW in November 2020 and qualified as a Solicitor in October 2023 in the Private Client department.
Lucy graduated with a BA Hons Upper Class 2:1 in Criminology at the University of Manchester in 2018. She undertook and passed her Solicitors Qualifying Exams in 2023 in the top quantile and is now a qualified Solicitor in the team. Lucy has extensive experience in Private Client matters, including complex Estate Administration, Probate, Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts. Lucy specialises in intestacy and probate cases referred to the team and has built up a probate network around the UK, achieving the ‘Unsung Hero’ Award at the Probate Awards in 2022.
Lucy is a member of the Manchester Law Society Committee where she attends committee meetings and arranges events and conferences for the legal sector in Manchester. She also is a Hub Champion for those 0-4 years qualified at JMW, hosting events and wellness socials for those that are new to the role of being a Solicitor.
Outside work, Lucy enjoys keeping fit and travelling. She started her own fitness platform in Covid, sharing her workouts and recipes for the public. Lucy enjoys the gym and trying new bars and restaurants in Manchester with her family and friends. Lucy represented team England in the 2016 Dance World Cup in Romania coming 3rd at the World Cup in Street Dance and continues to engage in a range of fitness networking events in Manchester, including Barrys Bootcamp and Ryde studios.
