Lydia joined JMW in January 2024 as a Solicitor in the Catastrophic Injury Team based in the Manchester Office.
Lydia has experience in a wide range of Personal Injury Law matters including:
- Representing those who have sustained brain, amputation and spinal cord injuries along with severe orthopaedic injuries.
- Negotiating with the Defendants on complex liability and quantum arguments and securing interim payments throughout the litigation process.
- Securing multi-million-pound settlements to enable clients to fund rehabilitation, support, aids and equipment, home adaptations and so on.
- Working alongside leading medical and non-medical experts, rehabilitation providers and Case Managers, Financial Deputies and Kings Counsel to secure the best outcome for her clients.
Lydia has supported a number of charities throughout her career including the Child Brain Injury Trust, Headway and the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT). Lydia was also shortlisted to the final 5 for the Trainee Solicitor of the Year Award in the Manchester Legal Awards 2023.
Lydia enjoys spending her free time reading and going on hikes (whenever the Manchester weather permits!).
