Pamela is an Associate in the Family Department, having joined JMW as a Solicitor in May 2021.
Pamela primarily advises on divorce, financial remedy and asset protection. Pamela has experience advising high-net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UNHW) clients. Pamela’s cases often feature complex asset bases, jurisdictional disputes, trusts (both on and offshore), inherited wealth and international elements.
Pamela was recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as one of the ‘Family Law Rising Stars – Manchester, 2024’.
Pamela has particular experience in other Family Law matters including:
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
- Arrangements for children to include resolving disputes through negotiation and contested Children Act proceedings. Pamela has experience dealing with cases where allegations of harm have been raised, relocation cases (both internal and external), child abduction and enforcement cases.
- Schedule 1 of the Children Act.
- Non-molestation and occupation orders.
- Cohabitation agreements.
Pamela is empathetic and practical in her approach, with a good eye for detail.
Pamela graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 degree in Law and achieved a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester.
Pamela trained at a Legal 500 Firm in Manchester and qualified as a Solicitor in April 2019. Prior to completing her training contract, Pamela gained experience working as a Family Law Paralegal.
