Pearse joined JMW in September 2024 as a Partner in the Corporate department.
Pearse is predominantly a M&A lawyer, advising buyers and sellers on acquisitions and disposals which often include a private equity and/or cross-border element. He has worked with funds, multi-national PLCs and owner-managed businesses across various sectors including automotive, agricultural, pharmaceutical, technology and haulage. He also has experience of advising clients on venture capital investments (both fund and target), joint ventures and group re-organisations.
Pearse qualified in 2017 and, for a number of years, worked closely with Corporate team head David Easdown at listed law firm Knights. Most recently, he worked for a large independent firm in the Thames Valley area, helping to grow their presence in the North West.
Outside of work, Pearse plays and watches various sports, enjoys travelling when possible and follows the misfortunes of Queens Park Rangers FC.
