Sam joined JMW in July 2007 in the Personal Injury Department.
Sam deals predominantly with claims involving:
- Accidents at work,
- Slipping and tripping claims
- Highways Act claims.
- Product liability claims
In terms of injuries, Sam deals with a wide range of orthopaedic injuries and also has experience of dealing with clients who have suffered head and brain injuries.
Sam has also dealt with a number of claims involving including fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions where there can be a significant psychological component to the symptoms.
Sam graduated from the University of Manchester with a law degree in 2005 and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University and called to the Bar in 2007.
Sam initially worked in JMW’s New Business Unit before running his own caseload of personal injury claims as a Litigation Executive from April 2008. Sam then made the decision to “cross-qualify” and completed his training as a solicitor in November 2013.
Sam enjoys food and travel and is attempting to learn Cantonese. He enjoys running and is also a keen walker, having climbed a number of the Scottish Munros to date and also completed the Three Peaks Challenge.
