Sobashni is a highly experienced litigator and specialises in broad range of dispute resolution involving contractual disputes, banking and finance litigation, civil fraud, debt recovery, professional negligence.
Sobashni is a member of the Law Society and the Law Society’s International Panel and member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association.

- High value cross border litigation including contractual and intentional torts relating to multiple jurisdictions;
- Complex foreign enforcement proceedings;
- Representing Claimants in professional negligence cases against solicitors, barristers, surveyors, accountants, structural engineers etc
- Freezing injunctions involving high net worth individuals, company directors and foreign companies;
- Issuing and defending jurisdictional challenges in litigation including applications for Forum Non Conveniens (FNC)
- Debt recovery including defending multi -million lending/repossession claims by “rogue” lenders;
- Multi-jurisdictional civil fraud proceedings and crypto fraud claims.

Prior to joining JMW Sobashni was a director and head of Commercial Litigation at national firm - Duncan Lewis Solicitors (London).

She graduated from the University of London with a law degree and is an Attorney at Law and a member of the Ceylon Bar.
