Victoria joined JMW in 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Personal Injury Team. She completed further training within the Court of Protection Team and Wills, Trusts, Tax & Succession Planning Team before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2024.
Victoria specialises in Court of Protection work, assisting individuals who lack mental capacity with the management of their property and affairs.
Victoria has experience with a wide range of Court of Protection matters, including:
- Lay Deputyship and Professional Deputyship Applications
- Court of Protection Applications including Requests for Specific Authority, Trustee Applications, and Requests for Recognition of International Powers of Attorney.
- Professional Deputyship General Management
- Personal Injury Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
Victoria studied Law, graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2020 with First Class Honours and was awarded the Family Law Prize for best performance. She went on to study the LPC with Masters in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in Chester, achieving a Distinction.
Prior to joining JMW, Victoria worked within the Residential Conveyancing department at a firm in Chester, dealing with post-completion matters.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys all things musical theatre and is regularly involved with amateur productions. Victoria also enjoys crochet, drawing, dance and spending time with friends and family.
