Simon joined JMW as a Partner in the Commercial Real Estate Department in April 2019.
He has a wealth of experience across the commercial property spectrum, having acted for a broad mix of clients, ranging from individual entrepreneurs to large corporates.
Simon undertakes work for a number of national and regional Investors, and boasts a strong retail specialism having worked for many years in a tailored Retail team acting for high profile national retailers and managing extensive portfolios.He also undertakes extensive work in the care sector, having acted for various day nursery and social care providers assisting with their growth programmes.
Simon graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2000 and completed the Legal Practice Course at Chester Law School in 2001.
He qualified with FDR Law (formerly Forshaws) in 2003, and subsequently spent over 13 years working within the highly regarded Real Estate teams at national law firms Halliwells and Gateley PLC. Simon moved to Slater Heelis in January 2017 where he has spent the last couple of years assisting with the growth of their commercial Real Estate offering.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys a game of golf, good food and wine and a gym session (to work off the aforementioned food and wine!).
