Jonathan is an Associate in our Personal Injury team helping clients with serious life-changing injuries.

Jonathan joined JMW in 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor and was the winner of the Trainee Solicitor of the Year Award 2022 at the Manchester Legal Awards. He subsequently completed his training contract with the firm and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022.

Jonathan is a member of the Catastrophic Injuries sub-team working on high-value claims involving serious injuries including; traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputation, chronic pain and complex orthopaedic injuries.

Jonathan is a former media professional having worked for almost 20 years in broadcasting. During this time he worked as a broadcaster and programme director for some of the largest media organisations in the country. He won a national radio award for coverage of the Manchester Arena attack in 2017.

Jonathan graduated from The Open University in 2017 with First Class Honours in Law after completing his degree whilst continuing to work full time and run his own events company. In 2019 he completed the Legal Practice MSc achieving a Distinction in Law, Business and Management.

Jonathan enjoys helping people and volunteered as an advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Salford for 2 years.

He enjoys hosting events including presenting awards evenings and in the main arena at Crufts and each year hosts events to raise money for charities such as Bury Hospice. Jonathan enjoys going to the theatre and served as a theatre reviewer at Manchester Palace and Opera House for over 10 years. He also enjoys cycling, skiing and walking his 2 dogs.
