Increases to immigration and nationality fees
On 19 March 2025, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) confirmed that immigration and nationality application fees will be increasing from 09 April 2025. The majority of fees are facing an increase of between 5-10%. Some of the notable increases include:
Sponsor Licence
- Worker sponsor licence applications for small organisations will be increasing from £536 to £574
- Worker sponsor licence applications for medium or large organisations will be increasing from £1476 to £1579
- Fee to assign Certificate of Sponsorship under the Skilled Worker, T2 Minister of Religion or Global Business Mobility – Senior or Specialist Worker routes will face a £286 increase from £239 to £525
- Fee to assign Certificate of Sponsorship under Temporary Worker routes, including Global Business Mobility – Graduate Trainee, UK Expansion Worker, Service Supplier and Secondment Worker routes, and the Scale-up route will be increased from £25 to £55
Entry Clearance
- Skilled Worker entry clearance applications for up to 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £719 to £769
- Skilled Worker entry clearance applications for more than 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £1420 to £1519
- Skilled Worker – Health and Care Visa – entry clearance applications for up to 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £284 to £304
- Skilled Worker – Health and Care Visa – entry clearance applications for more than 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £551 to £590
- T2 Minister of Religion entry clearance applications will be increasing from £719 to £769
- Partner entry clearance applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules will be increasing from £1846 to £1938
- Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will be increasing from £10 to £16
Permission to Remain
- Skilled Worker permission to remain applications for up to 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £827 to £885
- Skilled Worker permission to remain applications for more than 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £1636 to £1751
- Skilled Worker – Health and Care Visa – permission to remain applications for up to 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £284 to £304
- Skilled Worker – Heath and Care Visa – permission to remain applications for more than 3 years sponsorship will be increasing from £551 to £590
- T2 Minister of Religion permission to remain applications will be increasing from £827 to £885
- Partner permission to remain applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules will be increasing from £1258 to £1321
Settlement
- Indefinite Leave to Remain / Settlement applications will face a £144 increase from £2885 to £3029
Nationality
- Naturalisation applications will be increasing from £1500 to £1605
UKVI premium services to speed up the consideration of specified applications will not face any fee increases.

For those in the process of preparing applications, the revised fees will apply from 09 April 2025; to avoid paying the increased fee, applications will need to be submitted before 09 April 2025, where possible.
