Investor Visa Applications

The Tier 1 (Investor) route was closed to new applicants from 4pm on 17 February 2022. Those that already hold permission as a Tier 1 (Investor) can continue to extend their permission to remain and apply for settlement in accordance with the following deadlines:

• Applications for further permission to remain / further entry clearance must be made before 17 February 2026.
• Applications for settlement must be made before 17 February 2028.

For those that already hold permission as a Tier 1 (Investor), we can provide advice in relation to the extension and settlement requirements to ensure you are eligible to secure an extension and/or secure settlement.

At present, there are no immigration routes enabling high net worth individuals to solely invest. However, individuals can secure a visa to enable them to establish (and invest in) a business in the UK (Innovator Founder) or UK Expansion Worker (Global Business Mobility).
