Claire is an Associate in the Medical Negligence Department.
Claire helps people and families who have been harmed by poor medical care to seek justice and secure compensation.
Claire regularly assists on catastrophic brain and spinal injury cases. She also runs her own busy caseload and frequently handles claims relating to orthopaedic injuries, cancer misdiagnoses, surgical errors, and poor nursing care.
A trustee of the charity Jolly Josh, which supports children with complex needs and their families, Claire has taken part in fundraisers for the charity. This has included organising a JMW staff quiz and entering a fun run with her family and other JMW team members, which together have raised £1,000.
Prior to joining JMW Claire worked at Express Solicitors where she completed her training contract. She has worked in clinical negligence since January 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2014.
Claire completed her degree in Ancient History at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2008. She went on to study for a Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP in 2009 and completed her Legal Practice Certificate at BPP in 2010.
In her spare time Claire enjoys baking, eating out and the theatre.
