Expedited Review of Premises Licence Success
Jonathon Enston secured the reopening of the World Heritage Centre after an incident of serious violence and disorder involving guns and knives led to the premises licence being suspended. An expedited review hearing was required before the Licensing Committee to determine the future of the World Heritage Centre.
Jonathon assisted and advised the licence premises holder with the practical steps and measures it was able to make within the short period of time between the suspension of its licence and expedited review hearing.
At the expedited hearing, the Licensing Committee was persuaded that the changes that had been implemented by the premises licence post incident and those planned meant that with stricter conditions for its licence the World Heritage Centre was able to regain their license and reopen to the public.
