Full-service law firm JMW Solicitors has hired Jonathan Kropman as a Partner in its Private Client team in London.

Jonathan, who has joined from Trowers & Hamlins, has decades of experience acting for creators and owners of wealth on a wide range of matters. Jonathan particularly enjoys advising on family asset protection structuring including dynastic trusts, restructuring overseas holdings and providing legal support to trustees.

Jonathan also frequently acts for the private wealth professional sector, including trust companies, asset managers and private banks.

Jonathan began his career at what is now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP), where he started as a trainee solicitor and left in 2018 as Head of Private Wealth having overseen a three-fold growth in revenue and Tier One accreditation in Legal 500.

JMW was founded in Manchester over four decades ago and opened its London office in 2019, growing from seven to near 200 staff in little over five years.
