The Case

The child’s mother noticed shortly into their holiday that her child had a number of bites. She applied some bite cream, but the bites got worse, so she attended a local pharmacy. The mother informed the hotel and the mattress was replaced. 

The Claim

The report detailed that the bites improved over a period of six months, but the child was left with some faint scarring as a result of the bites which it was deemed would not improve. We investigated the issue with the help of an expert plastic surgeon.

Final Settlement

The defendants did not formally admit liability, but they chose to settle the case with a payout of £2,500. The settlement figure was approved by a judge and we made sure that the money was invested to support the child.
